The Phoenix Rising Collective hosts and also participates in various events throughout the year - workshops, seminars, and conferences - that are focused on building educational awareness about healthy self-esteem and committing to personal growth.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs - Sister Circle at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash. Ayanna Jordan, Founder of The Phoenix Rising Collective, facilitated Healthy Happy Coily: Celebrating our Natural Beauty, Embracing our Natural Hair for young women participating in UCBA’s Sister Circle. The focus was to explore three major areas while affirming the young women’s own unique identity in a supportive environment: (1) hair history (2) personal experiences and perceptions, and (3) styling, how-tos, and tips.

The Office of Multicultural Affairs - WoW (Women of the World) Luncheon at University of Cincinnati Blue Ash. Ayanna was the keynote speaker and shared how important it is for women to be the unique, empowered, and positive leaders they wish to be and see in their communities. The topic title, Her Leadership is Not Like Mine, and It Doesn’t Have to Be: Claiming My Authenticity. Being Myself.
